Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter from Mexico, was born to a music-loving family. As a child, she was inspired by classical music, boleros and the more traditional romantic, ranchero, as well as romance ballads. Ana loves tangos. She also loves operas as well as any drama. When she was 16 years old, she began to sing and study music with her mother. Flavio, a Mexican Tenor with a renowned reputation, began to provide her with more intense vocal instruction. The School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico furthered her education in music. She sang at Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young scholar and professional. After 2000, she emigrated into America. United States and sang with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Later, in 2007, she returned to her current home in Southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and frequently performs solo of traditional Latin American music at private occasions. as a music teacher and musician she has volunteered for many projects in the community due to her enthusiasm and passion for music. Ana has been a member of Community Chorus of Redlands (as well as Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana thank the Inland Master Chorale for their permission to play the traditional Latin American song.
