Rosalia

Rosalia Vila or Rosalia (Spanish to mean "Rosalia") is a Spanish Pop and Flamenco Singer. She has been a part of the fringes of both traditional and popular music since her teens she also delves into other genres such as hip-hop soul and trap. Pepe Haichuela, flamenco guitarist and famous musician has described the sound of the new artist as sweet and sharp however with a bite. El Mal Querer was her major commercial and critical breakthrough in the year 2018. Following the release of Los Angeles garnered her attention and a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist and it was a top hit on the Billboard charts of Latin Pop Albums and she was awarded an Grammy. La Fama featuring Weeknd debuted in 2021. Motomami featured songwriting partnerships with many artists including Cory Henry, James Blake and many others. This set was released the month of March 2022, following the Saturday Night Live performance featuring the hit song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia has become the only Spanish artist to perform solo on the show. Motomami was the only woman ever to be the recipient of the Latin Album of the Year two times in addition to three Latin Grammy Awards.
